Associated with Professional Home Inspection Organizations

Jim is a member of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) having previously been a member of INTERNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors).

In order to belong to ASHI as well as INTERNACHI, inspectors must pass several comprehensive exams, including building structure, roofing, siding, plumbing, electric, heating systems, AC systems, ventilation, insulation identification, deck structure, moisture intrusion, fireplace inspection, water heaters, appliance inspection, etc.

In addition to passing all the required exams related to home inspection, these professional organizations maintain a strict code of ethics in order to maintain their membership.  Jim certainly supports this code of ethics and is proud of his honesty and integrity in business.

Jim understands that purchasing a home is one of the most important decisions in your life. Therefore he will perform a thorough and professional inspection which includes all the elements and operating systems throughout the home.  Then he will provide you with a report on all the qualities and deficiencies within the interior and exterior of the home.    Jim's report, which includes digital photographs and text, will help you to make a knowledgeable purchase of a home.

In addition to the qualities and deficiencies of the home, Jim's report includes a section on home maintenance specifically designed for each home.  The goal of his maintenance report is to help the home owner:

1) prolong the life of the structure
2) keep the operating systems safe
3) save the homeowner money over time
